Title: The Alien's Farewell

Fade in:

EXT. EARTH - DAY

An alien spaceship is seen taking off from the surface of the Earth, piercing through the clouds and disappearing into the vastness of space.

Cut to:

INT. ALIEN SPACESHIP - DAY

The alien, a bizarre-looking creature with large, round eyes and long, slender limbs, sits in the pilot's seat, navigating the ship through the cosmos.

ALIEN

(to itself)

I have learned much about this peculiar species known as humans. They are a curious and intelligent race, capable of both great kindness and great destruction. The alien pauses, reflecting on its experiences on Earth.

ALIEN (CONT'D)

But now, it is time for me to leave. The humans have become too dependent on me, and I fear that my presence may hinder their progress. The alien ship approaches a wormhole, a swirling vortex of light and energy that connects different parts of the universe.

ALIEN (CONT'D)

Farewell, Earth. May you continue to evolve and thrive in my absence. The alien ship enters the wormhole, and the screen fades to black.

Fade out.

Scriptwriting Tip - What You Can Learn From The Movie Aliens

"Aliens is, quite simply, awesome. It’s one of those movies that works if you’re 15 or you’re 35. It’s got action. It’s got mystery. It’s got emotion. And it’s in the running for best sequel ever. When I give notes, there’s no movie I reference more than this one. I’ve been known to bring up Aliens while consulting on a romantic comedy. That's how rich it is in screenwriting advice. Now I could sit here and whine that “Studios just don’t make summer movies like this anymore.” But the truth is, they’ve never made these kinds of summer movies consistently - movies with depth, movies with thought, movies where the story takes precedence over the effects. But when they do, it’s probably the best moviegoing experience you can have. So, keeping that in mind, here are ten screenwriting lessons you can learn from one of the best summer movies of all time........ "
Ten Screen Writing Lessons
  1. Kill your babies
  2. Not every film needs a love story
  3. Always make things worse for your characters
  4. Use your mid-point to change the game
  5. Get your hero out there doing s#@&$ - keep them active
  6. Move your story along
  7. The more unlikely the action, the more convincing the motivation must be
  8. Strong fatal flaw - rare for a summer movie
  9. Sequence dominated movie
  10. Actions speak louder than words (show don't tell!)
